Quis custodiet ipsos custodes ..who will guard the guards? i have no idea how much of dan brown's works are based on absolute facts..but if it were truly based on facts..it'll be scary to think that the US has that much technology kept under wraps. deception point is a little disappointing..i mean..i can actually put it down without feeling a pang..unlike the other books..which i pretty much steamrolled through. dan brown's writing gets predictable..but his plot is always a winner. hopefully..deception point throws me a super twist.
i feel a little jaded. not quite looking forward to school starting..yet i'm tired of doing nothing. i'm not sure uni will live up to all that hype..it is essentially a sch..and the number of reports and essays....sigh...it's a little intimidating just thinking abt it. i doubt you make friends in uni..and a few of my friends are going far far away..was just msging vivienne yest..she's going to melbourne to do physiology..and adri's off to the UK to do bio. of the oddballs...bela, jo and i are off to NUS and i haven't heard from parv in quite awhile..so i'm gonna msg her today. haha..well..adri..oddball meetings will be diff without you..no one to bully jo..but i'm sure you'll be shopping in the UK for all 5 of us!!!
